Charity Golf Classic
Progressive Initiatives annual golf classic helps the struggling youth of our community. Proceeds of the tournament will aid in funding the educational, health and wellness, cultural activities, and entrepreneurial training programs organized by Progressive Initiatives. Money earned through this event will support the Progressive Initiatives Foundation Scholarship Fund.

Blue Tuesday
Blue Tuesday is a quarterly event that brings together members of the fraternity as well as an established clientele of professionals to meet, greet and network. Omicron Sigma continues to establish a brand/image of professionals that is sophisticated, upscale and excellent.  Blue Tuesday also allows Omicron Sigma to establish relationships and opportunities with other like-mined organizations to explore value-added community projects and fund-raising activities.


R.R. Walston 5K Walk/Run for Sickle Cell Awareness
The North Dallas Sigmas, in partnership with Progressive Initiatives Inc., host the R.R. Walston 5K Walk/Run for Sickle Cell Awareness yearly. This walk raises funds in the name of sickle cell disease (SCD) and pays homage to our good Bro. Reginald R. Walston, a respected businessman in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He was also a dedicated member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc, a distinguished graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, and, most importantly, a voice for those battling SCD on a daily basis. Bro. Walston passed away in 2015.
